That’ s in India or more particularly in Rajasthan, country of the Maharajahs and the snake charmers, whom I regularly put down my suitcases.
The incredible diversity of cultures which mix here is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artists coming from all over the world. I like very much spending time in this continent where art is omnipresent on a daily basis, as the music, the traditional dances, the painters of miniatures, the craftsmen which make jewels, clothes or furnitures in every corner of streets, in their small workshops.
The beauty is everywhere, in the colors of saris, hands tinged with henna, with offerings of flowers, in this diversity of animals which have a walk from everywhere The monkeys, cows, peacocks and squirrels, the birdsong and since ‘ one ‘ push little in countrysides riding camels or motorcycle, we would believe that the time have stopped.
There is here something magic in l atmosphere which I won’t know how to describe….
Since about ten year, I created clothes collections for women and children with the precious help of the rajasthanis’tailors, and loving to go from a bazar to another , I always found some beautifull jewels and ethnic accessories which I suggest you discovering in my shop.
